What a REVIVAL!
Many months of prayer was answered by our Faithful Father!! From November 4th to November 11th, a team of 24, chosen by God, traveled to the Dominican Republic! We showed up and GOD SHOWED OFF! The detailed miracles performed by God was not a shock to HIM but we felt the Holy Spirit flowing in everything we did. It wasn’t just miracles performed throughout the school or the community but chains were broken throughout our team. A Million Little Miracles. We could not count them ALL!
Miracles up miracles
One of the many activities, the team did was sing songs, make crafts with the kids, and taught them bible stories. These moments are so special to see the power of Jesus in everything we did.
Projects
Another project was to paint the outside wall of the school and we started to paint a mural in the playground area. This served the role of making the center have a fresh coat of paint and to show the community surrounding that the Holy Spirit is still very active! We pray that every roll of paint saves a life.
Prayer Requests & Praises
Prayer Requests:
- The Mercades family keeps their vision and strength from the Lord. They continue to stay healthy and strong to continue to complete God’s work.
- A new roof for the CIMIV school will cost about $80,000. Pray for God to continue to provide for this project.
Praises:
- Dr. Enerio Mercades was very encouraged when God sent this team to the Dominican Republic. His smile was as wide as God’s love.
- God provided a new cook for the CIMIV (the school). This will allow the students to have breakfast and lunch which will mean a longer academic day!
- While in the Dominican Republic, a few members of the team built a podium for the chapel on campus! What a praise to Jesus!
- A few members of the team cleaned the top of the vo- tech roof.
